I just found about some really healthy foods and I really just want to get it out there so everyone can benefit from these delicious foods.

1. Broccoli: they contain calcium, vitamins A and C, potassium, folate, and fiber. They also contain phytonutrients, compounds that may help prevent heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers. AND, they are LOW IN CALORIES.

2. Apples: the saying that an apple a day keeps the doctor awayis pretty true since they have a good amount of pectin—a fiber that may help reduce cholesterol—and the antioxidant Vitamin C, which keeps your blood vessels healthy.

3. Eggs: They are a good source of the antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin, factors that could ward off age-related eye problems. Not all of us are of the elderly, but with the technologies children have access to now, their eyes are defintiely more damaged than people who lived in the same places hundreds of years ago. Eyes are important, they are our only way to see the world, take care of it.
